These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They are really cute, too!!! I have had so many compliments on them.
So I determined that this is the only medieval design UIN makes...and I HAD to get it. They are a lovely fit and comfortable walking for hours, but more than that, everyone asks me about them! They want to know where I got them and if they're comfy. I assure people they are, and send them to the website.
I should also mention that, being interested in medieval history (and a librarian), I didn't stop looking until I found the source for this illustration. It is from a specific manuscript of the Tacuinum Sanitatis, a medieval "consumer health" book, which has pictures of all manner of things one can take/apply/use for various health problems. I expected to find it as "Wine", which seemed obvious, but oddly it is under "Autumn". Sometimes a change of season is just the thing to perk a person up (especially if it involves quality control duties at the local winery, I imagine)!
Hint hint, UIN, if you produced more designs from medieval or Renaissance art, I'd buy them.
