PICASSO'S GUERNICA
Design Conception
Odd and cruel as it is, Picasso’s Guernica, which was based on the ruined city Guernica after Nazi’s bombardment, shocks you visually and politically. Inspired by Picasso’s painting concept, our UIN designer made a bold adoption of it to demonstrate our opposition against war and advocate justice, both politically and artistically..
The painting adopted colors of pure black, white and grey, together with the horses howling in pain and the dying people lying on the ground with crippled bodies, to unveil the catastrophe caused by the fascist war. Misery and suffering, however, aren’t the theme of it, but truth and justice. A bright and big eye was painted on the top of the whole painting, like God’s gaze, to display the condemnation of Nazi. Nazi is nowhere, but our pursuit for justice and democracy is ever-lasting. Our UIN shoes hope to take the lead to express an attitude—opposition to dictatorship and advocacy of peace and democracy.

Not only artistic, but very comfortable as well!
These are insanely comfortable. I got my usual shoe size and even with wide ish feet they’re perfect. The pattern is laid out so nicely, you can really tell from a distance which painting it is.
I was attracted to these shoes because of the artwork, and once I got them I was amazed at the comfort and at the ease of putting them on and taking them off without them flopping around while I was wearing them. They run large. The first ones I got were the Gaudi inspired praying girls on a black background. They were large, but perfect for winter with thick winter socks. They have not stretched or lost their shape or color. I got the second (half size smaller) Buddha Face pair for summer. It takes about a month to get them. They come from Spain. Right now I'm coveting the Guernica ones. I really like these shoes and I have a hard time finding shoes I really like.
Hi, looks so nice, unfortunately the last shoe is so big so, Im waiting the Customer UIN Team answer my email with my request to change the number of two pair of my order.
The shoes are amazing, very well made, and true to size. I am an art teacher and these are super comfortable! Will definitely be buying more!!!
